The Vicarage Road isn't the easiest place to go in the Premier League, especially when it's a London Derby, last year Arsenal won both games easily against the Hornets, but this match wont be the same.


Arsenal in trouble, looking for their 1st win of the new season, they have big problems with defenders, also some players missing from the attacking section.


Watford hired Walter Mazzeri, he will be as good as Quiqee Sanchez Flores was. The played an awful games againts Soton, but came away with a draw, then they showed quality against Chelsea at home, they were up by 1 till the 80' minute, when Batshuayi scored the equaliser and this followed by Costa's winner. Midweek they lost to Gillingham in OT, i dont think this is relevant for us this stage of the season.


Against Arsenal's defense they have chance to score, Deeney and Ighalo is a threaten up front.


I think both team will score once, it wouldnt suprise me if Watford stole a point from Arsenal.

Wisła are currently bottom of the table and in very poor form. Their off field problems haven't helped either with ownership of the club changing and allot of staff's futures looking uncertain.


Wisła won in round 1 but since have lost 5 games in a row. Last round they somehow conceded from a counter attack in the 94th minute to lose 1-0.


Śląsk only lost 1/5 games this season. Their defence seems to be their strong point this year with already 4 clean sheets in 5 games. They already faced Legia, Lech and Pogoń. All teams with high expectations.


Wisła are really poor in defence and don't have confidence in front of goal either. Śląsk with a solid defence and I believe they can score a goal here so I doubt they will lose.

PAOK already secured the qualification to the groups of Europa League from the first game away to Georgia (0:3), while at Tbilisi seems they already accepted their fate if you see their recent statements for tonight’s game. PAOK was lot better to the first game, especially to the second half, where they looked like they could score more goals, while Tbilisi defense was terrible and any attacking opportunity of PAOK was near to goal action.

PAOK has a good advantage from the fact that the Greek Super League start is postponed and there is no estimation when it will start, so except the fact that they are more than ready, they are also fresh and looking for friendlies to cover the space. No big problems to an already strengthened squad, as only Klaus Athanasiadis will miss the game, anyway he was not good at all to the games against Ajax and away in Georgia too.


Dinamo Tbilisi is going well to their domestic league, but in European competitions they are in front of a second successive exclusion. First they were left out of the Champions League from Dinamo Zagreb and will now stay probably outside from Europa League.

The climate to their team is not that good, as after the first game against PAOK their fans were dissapointed and tried to enter the stands where the officials of the team were sitting. The fact that they have no realistic qualification hopes will surely affect their game. Defensive midfielder Stefan Velev and striker Vladimer Dvalishvili will both miss the game due to injuries.

    PAOK have kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 7 matches in Europa League.
    Dinamo Tbilisi have failed to score in 5 of their last 7 matches in Europa League.
    PAOK are undefeated in 11 of their last 12 matches in Europa League.

PAOK is rested since they had no obligations for the league, while the morale within the team is at a very good level. I expect a comfortable victory combined with some good football for PAOK. The good attacking line of PAOK with Rodrigues, Pereyra and Djalma will be hardly stopped.

Dinamo Zagreb travel away to Salzburg knowing that they could have sealed a victory in their home leg but wasted a lot of shots on target in that game in order to seal a victory. Aside from that draw against Salzburg, they have managed a great record coming into the new season winning 5 out of 6 games on the domestic front, while winning both legs of their 2 qualifying rounds played so far. Fernández, Soudani, Hozdic and Rog have been leading the way with the goals, and one can expect them to continue in their scoring form especially Rog who is looking for a potential big transfer away. Zagreb have netted in every game played so far this season while also conceding goals when taking on good teams like Salzburg in the first leg.


Salzburg are a very good team especially in front of their home fans and managed to seal a strong 3-1 victory in their domestic campaign on the weekend. They have only lost 1 of their 11 competitive games played so far this season, and will like to use their home advantage to help where they haven't lost a competitive fixture since back in February. A lot of effort on the offensive end lies with their captain Soriano who struggled in the first game out, and will rely on his colleagues Belisha, Reyna and first leg scorer Lazaro to help him out on the scoring front. Miranda, Minamino and Prevljak will all be missing in action.


Both teams have qualified to this stage going through a qualifying round and their offences have been in good knick. Even in the first leg, they both had a lot of shots on target, but the finishing wasn't as clinical as it should be. But with a big payday ahead of the winner of this game, you an expect both teams to be attacking and as a result I expect them both to score.

Legia have an excellent opportunity to advance to group phase of UEFA Champions League. Last week the Polish side won 2:0 in Ireland, so they're almost there. Stadium is sold out, there'll be nice atmosphere. All first-choice players apart from right-back Bereszynski are available. On last weekend important offensive midfielder Guilherme returned into action. Legia have lost to Arka (1:3) at home on Saturday in the league fixture, but all first-team players were rested (apart from goalkeeper Malarz).


Dundalk are a semi-amateur club. That loss in the first-leg must had a bad impact on their morale and I don't think that Dundalk will be able to turn things around. Pretty important midfielder O'Donnell (captain) is suspended for this match and it's a big blow for visitors. I expect a home win.

Sevilla are going through changes, they need more time. Espanyol are an ambitious club nowadays. Chinese investors want this team to be successful. All important players stayed in the team in summer (apart from Asensio who was there on loan) and Espanyol have strengthened the team by signing a number of quality players. There is also a new coach Quique Sanchez Flores, who is a quality one and he did a good job at his previous clubs such as Watford or Getafe. Espanyol enjoyed a good pre-season, they haven't suffered from any defeat. They drew against Juventus in their final test match last week (2:2), they've also drew against Southampton (1:1) and beat Everton (1:0). Visitors have comfortable situation with the squad and in my opinion they have a good chance to get at least 1 point in this fixture.

It's been a long winter break as usual here in Switzerland but football is finally back this weekend.


FC Basel are headed for their 8th consecutive league title and to start the year they will take on FC Lucerne at home this Sunday at 4pm ECT. I see Basel winning but don't really like the odds on that.

A few players left the club during winter break, most importantly Elneny who is now playing at Arsenal. Gashi (Colorado Rapids), Ajeti (Augsburg) and Kuzmanovic (Udinese?) also left but they were mostly backups and didn't have much impact during the first part of the season.


Basel signed a few young and promising players and also Steffen from YB Berne but none of them are expected to start on Sunday.


No injuries or suspensions of note.

The loss of Lezcano (Ingolstadt) could be a problem for them as he was their most dangerous player, if the signing of young forward Frey can make up for that is to be seen. Lucerne are having a decent season and will be looking to finish among the top 4 (or top 5 depending on Swiss Cup outcome) and qualify for the Europa League.


No injuries or suspensions of note.


Neither team was convincing in their friendlies leading up to this game. Especially Basel seem to have a serious problem in their defense, having been unable to keep a clean sheet in any of their friendlies, conceeding over two goals on average. They were only friendlies of course but it's a concern if you're rooting for FCB.


Lucern did better defensively but Basel usually has no problems scoring against them.


Basel scored 4,3,2,3,3 in their last five games against Lucerne.


There have been Over 2.5 goals in 5 of last 5 games and in 3 out of those 5 both teams managed to score. Also the last match (3-0) should never have been a clean sheet, Lucerne had many good chances in that game but were unable to take any of them. This surely won't happen again, Lucerne will get their chances and score IMO.


I believe there's a much better chance than 50% of that happening which gives this bet decent value.
